Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White in The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. In addition, she has played Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She was enthralled by acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio with her family in later in the 1970s. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career in Chicago-area theatres for several years. Her next move was to TV and film. Anna had her biggest break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After being a guest Star in several TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 90's She was then cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood were also part of her career. Gunn has also appeared on scene in David Swimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In addition, she was a part of Numbered Days, a show made up of four plays. The love story that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the plot of Breaking Bad with the strained attraction between the couple and eventually its demise reflecting the exact arc of Walter White's last years of his life.
