Kellie Martin is an American film, television and stage performer. Her most well-known role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". She is also famous for her role as the main character in the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin's acting career started when she was just seven when her aunt, the former nanny who took care her children Michael Landon, helped secure a spot as a special character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' Following her Yale University graduation, she began to concentrate on acting, and managed to land substantial roles in the film and television industries. Besides being an actress, Martin is a skilled photographer and ballet dancer. Martin's sister, who died from Lupus aged 19 led her to becoming the Lupus the national spokesperson.
