Sadie Amara Calvano is an actor from America that has gained fame as the character Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom'. Calvano grew up in California, and initially was attracted to in competitive gymnastics. But, she made the decision to go after a job as an actress. On CBS's"NCIS," she made her debut "NCIS", she debuted in 2010. The biographical crime thriller film J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year later. She quickly became one of the top young actors in the industry over the next few years. In 2011 she won a Young Artist Award nomination for the top Actress in a Television Series and guest Actress 11-15. In 2013, in recognition of an appearance in Disney XD's "Kickin' It' comedy series, she received another nomination for an Young Artist Award. Calvano was a part of Mom's initial three seasons. She she also appeared in several episodes throughout the fourth. Calvano's performance being a rising star in Mom was recognized with an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is presented to women who are outstanding actors.
